Below the message box on Home, Needs attention lists what’s waiting on your team. It starts collapsed — click it to open the list.

What shows up

Click a failed run, a paused workflow or a knowledge issue and Home starts a new conversation about it straight away — the agent already knows which run or document you mean, investigates, and proposes the fix. Click a waiting plan, approval or question to jump back to the conversation it belongs to.

The nightly knowledge review

Every Vern agent reads your knowledge — what you’ve taught it about each source, company and template — before it works. Knowledge that’s wrong, contradictory or hard to read makes every migration worse, so Vern reviews it every night. The review only re-reads what changed since its last check, together with anything a migration connects it to (a source, the company migrating off it, and the templates it lands in). It looks for:
  • Contradictions — two documents disagreeing, for example a source’s notes and a company’s notes giving different date formats.
  • Duplicates and outdated facts — the same rule written twice, or a fact that no longer holds.
  • Structure — walls of text that should be headings and lists.
  • Facts in the wrong place — knowledge that belongs on a different document. A source document describes the data being imported, a template describes the target structure, and a company holds that customer’s business context.
  • Column facts — rules like required, unique or must be an email written in prose, which belong on the template column itself, where every import is held to them.
  • Size — a document over its limit. Runs that read it are blocked until it’s trimmed, so these are marked critical.
Each finding becomes a Knowledge issues item. Click it and the agent reads the documents, then proposes the fix — rewritten knowledge as a diff, or a change to the template column — for you to approve. Nothing changes until you do.
